Phoenix Bust by RustedScrapMetal Phoenix Bust by RustedScrapMetal
Phoenix bust! Made from super sculpey clay, and painted over in Grumbacher acrylic paints. In the eyes, for added shine would be sculpey gloss to give it a wet look. Also, the eyes are made of bronzite stones. Feathers took ages. Each was made with individual love.

7 1/2 inches high.

Hello! :D

Congrats! As a winner in the contest you receive a feature in my journal (here: [link]) and a pixel art commission. :) The pixel art commission can be an avatar, an emote or whatever pixel scene (see my gallery [link] for examples of what I can make). Please let me know what you'd like.

Hello!
Thanks for the feature, as well as offering to give a prize!
Have you seen any of the Lord of the Rings movies, or read the books? A scene, anything that you'd wish, from The Lord of the Rings would be awesome! The characters could be emotes, as long as you could tell who they are by accessories, or whatever.

If you are not familiar with that, something mythological like a dragon would be cool, perhaps a dragon sitting on a pile of treasure.

I've seen all the movies! :la: And my fiance is a huge Tolkien fan. :D So be sure I'll make something awesome under his supervision. :giggle: I'll let you know when it's ready. (It might take a while. :) )

Thanks! Tell your fiancÚ that he's awesome! Stay with him, he's a keeper.

And take your time. Good work need not be rushed, plus you're working with pixels. I understand.
