This is a wood burning of a raven. The random lines are from Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven". Although he cheated on his wife, Virginia Clemm, which she at once claimed to have caused her failing immune system to catch tuberculosis and die at the age of 24, his works are legendary and are some of my favorite.

The man may have been a bit of a whack and an opium smoking, alcoholic, cheating bastard... but he sure knew poetry.

I spoke truthfully.

so true so true. As the pendulum swings. Vincent Price did an awesome rendition. Many's the man, who uses whatever he can, to keep addiction in hand.

I really like this. I have always loved Poe, and wood burning. Every time I try to do something with wood burning I get frustrated and wind up stabbing at the thing... and possibly kicking it.
